Responsibilities & Requirements

The Lead RN Acute Care provides clinical leadership and coordination for nursing staff in an acute care setting, supporting high-quality patient care, safety, and operational reliability. This role guides care delivery, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited programMinimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in an acute care settingActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of OhioBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAll required credentials must be maintained in good standing throughout employment

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related healthcare field Previous experience in a charge, lead, or supervisory nursing role Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or other specialty certification
