Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Automation lead/Manager with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Agile environments, CI/CD implementation, cloud-native testing, and quality engineering practices within Banking, FinTech, Payments, Digital Banking,
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and Mobile testing.
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities including test strategy, planning, execution, and release validation.
- Develop automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured, and related technologies.
- Should have strong hold on any language, e.g. Java, JavaScript, typescript etc...
- Build BDD/TDD automation frameworks using Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, or Karate.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CloudBees, Docker, and related DevOps tools.
- Drive Shift-Left testing practices through early test involvement in requirements and design discussions.
- Perform API validation, contract testing, and integration testing for REST/SOAP services.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor QA engineers and establish automation best practices across projects.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Analyze logs and monitoring data using Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or similar observability platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Mambu or other Core Banking platforms.
- Splunk, Dynatrace, MuleSoft exposure.
- AI-assisted Quality Engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Postman AI.
- Mobile Banking Application Testing.
- Cloud-native application testing
