Role: Senior NETWORK ENGINEER / NETWORK OPERATIONS LEAD

Role Summary: Provide senior technical leadership, oversee L1/L2 operations, manage complex incidents and escalations, and drive SLA compliance and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day L1/L2 network operations.
- Ensure incident response, mitigation and resolution meet SLA targets.
- Take technical ownership of major and complex incidents.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN and load balancing.
- Review complex configuration changes and implementation plans.
- Drive RCA and permanent corrective actions.
- Analyze network trends, recurring faults, capacity and performance issues.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with ABM L3 teams for highly complex issues.
- Coordinate with OEMs, ISPs, telecom providers and other vendors.
- Oversee upgrade and patching activities within scope.
- Review ticket quality and escalation quality.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, runbooks and change processes.
- Mentor U2 and U3 engineers.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly service reviews.
- Track SLA performance, KPIs, risks and mitigation plans.
- Support transition, knowledge transfer and service stabilization.

- Strong enterprise routing and switching expertise
- Advanced Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting
- WAN, MPLS, VPN and SD-WAN
- Enterprise firewall and security policy concepts
- Cisco wireless
- F5/load-balancing knowledge
- QoS, traffic analysis and performance optimization
- Major incident management and RCA
- ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Network monitoring, reporting and ITSM tools
Preferred: CCNP Enterprise/CCNP Security, SD-WAN expertise, firewall certification, F5 exposure, ITIL Foundation
