As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a technical anchor for our production environment, ensuring high-speed manufacturing machinery operates at peak performance. You will lead troubleshooting efforts and drive equipment reliability, directly impacting our ability to meet critical production goals through expert mechanical and electrical intervention.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on injection and blow molding systems to maximize operational uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex failures across pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems, including PLCs, robotics, and servo drives.
- Lead technical projects involving the installation, validation, and optimization of advanced automation and production technologies.
- Coordinate daily maintenance workflows, prioritize urgent repairs, and provide technical mentorship to the broader maintenance team.
- Refurbish auxiliary equipment such as vacuum pumps and heat exchangers to extend asset life and improve process efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment status to ensure seamless communication between engineering and operations departments.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional training.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience maintaining complex industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in coordinating maintenance teams and prioritizing technical tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the precise use of diagnostic and measurement tools.
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record in root cause analysis and implementing long-term reliability improvements.
- Experience managing CMMS platforms, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Background in regulated manufacturing environments with knowledge of quality systems and equipment commissioning.
