About the role

Role Purpose : Owns advanced system administration responsibilities across server & compute environments ensuring stable, secure, scalable and well-governed infrastructure operations by driving configuration management, platform hygiene, automation adoption and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead system administration for Linux/Windows compute environments including configuration management, OS performance tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance.

Implement automation scripts / workflows for routine ops, deployment, configuration changes & environment hygiene reduction of manual work.

Perform advanced troubleshooting for compute platform incidents, support RCA actions and ensure closure of high impact issues.

Support capacity planning, resource optimization and compute cost optimization with platform teams.

Ensure enterprise security baseline compliance, vulnerability remediation and system hardening controls.

Review changes, validate implementation quality, coach junior engineers and uplift operational maturity.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, including change control discipline, access management standards, and audit trail maintenance.
