Job Summary

The Lead Digital Fulfillment Specialist serves as the on-the-floor bridge between the Digital Fulfillment Specialists and the Fulfillment Supervisor. You work alongside Specialists in day-to-day fulfillment operations — performing quality checks, troubleshooting orders, and building print files — while keeping the team moving by answering questions, supporting training, and stepping in wherever needed. This role is ideal for someone with experience in quality assurance or print production who is ready to grow into a leadership role. Ideal candidates bring strong critical thinking skills, a hands-on work ethic, and a genuine desire to develop their team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day fulfillment tasks alongside Digital Fulfillment Specialists, including quality checks, order troubleshooting, and print file creation.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for Digital Fulfillment Specialists — answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and keeping production on track.
  • Review orders for errors and quality before handoff to print labs for fulfillment.
  • Build out and submit print orders for school deliverables to our print labs.
  • Create print files based on templates and perform photo retouching and layups in Photoshop.
  • Manage client order correction requests and escalate complex issues to the Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new Digital Fulfillment Specialists on software, workflows, and quality standards.
  • Report on order statuses daily to the Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • Coordinate vendor and internal communications to keep production on track, escalating issues to the Fulfillment Supervisor as needed.
  • Support the Fulfillment Supervisor with scheduling inputs, team documentation, and day-to-day coordination.
  • Perform work across multiple software platforms.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Ability to learn and understand CADY product lines.
  • Willing to work a fluctuating schedule based on company needs.
  • Strong communication skills — able to escalate effectively, coordinate across teams, and keep the Supervisor informed.
  • Able to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Able to work at a faster pace while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Associate's degree or one year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
  • Must pass a satisfactory background check.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment regularly.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach within an office environment.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 15 lbs., such as files, office supplies, or equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a standard indoor office setting with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
