About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and precision.
Key Duties Include
- Preparing and positioning patients, verifying orders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Executing advanced protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, Gated Chest, and more.
- Monitoring patient conditions, administering contrast media, and maintaining patient privacy and comfort.
- Managing equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to produce high-quality images.
- Providing mentorship to fellow technologists and overseeing departmental workflow in the absence of leadership.
- Participating in quality control, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and physicians, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety.
Qualifications Include
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in CT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Additional skills: expertise in all aspects of CT imaging, quality control, and advanced protocols; ability to teach and mentor; adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
