What You'll Do
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services within your scope of practice, including:
- Deliver direct clinical social work and behavioral health services to service members and their families.
- Conduct crisis assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning for patients experiencing emotional or mental health distress.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based clinical support tailored to each patient's needs.
- Collaborate with nurses, medical officers, psychiatric technicians, and other healthcare professionals as part of an integrated care team.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in government electronic health record systems.
- Maintain a 90% or greater encounter closure rate within 72 hours .
- Follow applicable clinical, ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards, including The Joint Commission requirements, medical staff bylaws, station regulations, and federal ethical conduct standards.
- Meet established patient care, scheduling, quality, and clinic performance metrics.
- Support a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license allowing independent clinical practice in any U.S. state or territory.
- Demonstrated clinical competency within the past 2 years .
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Healthcare Provider course.
- Web-based-only BLS training is not accepted.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn and work within government healthcare systems such as MHS GENESIS, AHLTA, or CHCS .
- Ability to successfully complete required federal background/security processing, including fingerprinting and the SF-86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions.
- Ability to complete required pre-employment physical/health screening.
- Required immunization and screening documentation, including TB screening, annual influenza vaccination, and Hepatitis B compliance or declination.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience providing behavioral health services to active-duty military personnel, veterans, or military families .
- Experience working in military, federal, hospital, outpatient behavioral health, or integrated healthcare environments.

Your Schedule
