About This Role
This position is for an exceptionally skilled and highly experienced Lash Extension Specialist who has mastered the art of lash extensions. The role involves creating everything from timeless, natural sets to highly customized, advanced lash designs, with a strong understanding of how to customize each set according to the client's eye shape, natural lashes, facial features, desired look, and overall aesthetic.
Responsibilities
- Create everything from timeless, natural sets to highly customized, advanced lash designs
- Customize every set according to the client's eye shape, natural lashes, facial features, desired look, and overall aesthetic
- Determine the appropriate curl, length, diameter, mapping, density, placement, and styling needed to create a beautiful and customized result
- Execute advanced designs with consistency
- Recreate inspiration photos while appropriately customizing the design for the individual client
- Work with different natural lash types and densities
- Maintain high standards for sanitation, organization, and professionalism
- Provide a polished, luxury-level approach to the client experience
- Create truly customized sets rather than relying on one standard lash map
- Combine techniques to create wispy, textured, spiked, dense, airy, natural, dramatic, lifted, elongated, or editorial-inspired looks
- Modify styling for different eye shapes, including hooded, almond, round, downturned, upturned, deep-set, and mature eyes
- Demonstrate excellent isolation, appropriate weight selection, proper attachment, clean direction, balanced styling, and safe application techniques
Requirements
- Valid esthetician or cosmetology license as required by applicable state law
- Professional lash extension certification/training
- Significant hands-on lash extension experience
- Advanced proficiency in Classic, Hybrid, Volume, and Mega Volume techniques
- Experience with modern specialty styles, including Anime/Manga, Arabian, wispy, textured, and spiked sets
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of lash styles and advanced work
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong understanding of sanitation and client safety
- Ability to maintain the elevated service standards of a luxury beauty environment
- Exceptional technical ability, precision, and artistry
- Extensive professional lash extension experience
- Advanced knowledge of lash health, isolation, placement, direction, and retention
- Excellent fan-making and volume techniques
