Laravel Developer

About This Role

This role is for an experienced developer with a strong background in Laravel and PHP, who is passionate about creating high-performance, secure, and scalable web applications. The Laravel Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework, ensuring they meet client requirements and project specifications
• Implement new features and functionality, following best practices and coding standards
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to Laravel coding standards and best practices
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues
• Design and manage database schemas, queries, and migrations using MySQL or other relational databases
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security
• Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to integrate backend functionality with user-facing elements
• Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments
• Optimize application performance to ensure fast loading times and efficient resource usage
• Implement best practices for scalability and security to ensure reliable and secure applications
• Stay updated with the latest Laravel developments, trends, and best practices to enhance development processes and deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of experience in the same field
• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks and technologies
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of web security practices and standards
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
