About This Role
This development role is for an experienced Laravel Developer to join a team building scalable frontend and backend systems. It suits a candidate with strong experience in Laravel and React, a good grasp of REST APIs and databases, and an ability to work with modern technologies and scalable application architectures.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable frontend and backend systems from scratch
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain web applications using Laravel, PHP, and React
- Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Work with databases and optimize data handling and query performance
- Collaborate with product, design, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities
- Troubleshoot existing applications and implement performance and functionality improvements
- Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver solutions within defined timelines
Requirements
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP
- Professional experience with React for frontend development
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design
- Experience with MySQL and Supabase
- Proficiency with Git-based version control
- Strong understanding of scalable and maintainable web application development
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to have:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js
- Knowledge of modern frameworks such as Next.js or NestJS
