Landscaper

About This Role

This role is for a dependable Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance across the facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and outdoor work areas. The position is responsible for general upkeep, ensuring the facility remains safe, organized, and customer-ready at all times.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, trim edges, weed-eat, and maintain landscaped areas
• Remove trash, debris, limbs, and loose material from grounds, parking lots, fence lines, and walkways
• Maintain shrubs, bushes, trees, mulch beds, gravel areas, and other exterior appearance areas
• Keep entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and common outdoor areas clean and presentable
• Assist with seasonal grounds work such as leaf removal, storm cleanup, and minor exterior repairs
• Safely operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and related equipment
• Report damaged property, unsafe conditions, drainage issues, lighting concerns, or maintenance needs to management
• Follow company safety rules and use required personal protective equipment
• Support general facility cleanup and appearance projects as assigned

Requirements

• Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, farming, or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate mowing and landscaping equipment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks thoroughly
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, push, pull, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, dust, and normal groundskeeping conditions
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and appropriate footwear

Nice to have:

• Experience with zero-turn mowers, tractors, weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, or other grounds equipment
• Basic mechanical ability to inspect, clean, fuel, and maintain small equipment
• Experience with weed control, trimming, gravel maintenance, drainage cleanup, or exterior facility upkeep
• Ability to identify and correct appearance or safety issues before they become problems
