About This Role

This runner position is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by completing steps of service, understanding menu content, and acting with a sense of urgency to provide efficient service. The role involves working as part of a team and adhering to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Understand content of menu
• Always exceed guest expectations
• Adhere to location appearance guidelines
• Act with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
• Respond to guest needs and requests
• Ensure food quality and timeliness
• Communicate guest issues to management
• Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies
• Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Maintain service areas
• Employ good safety and sanitation practices
• Thoroughly complete all station setup and breakdown responsibilities
• Adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
• Display a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
• Be on time and ready to perform required duties
• Help fellow team members whenever necessary

Requirements

• Lift and transport up to 75 lbs.
• Frequently reach, lift, stoop, bend and clean to maintain service area
• English reading, writing and math skills required
• Walk and stand during entire shift
