About This Role
This role involves conducting a variety of laboratory tests on materials and products, assisting in product development, and maintaining lab equipment. The position is suited for a detail-oriented individual with experience in a laboratory setting, contributing to quality control and product performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, finished products, and prototypes
- Assist in product development and formulation trials under the supervision of the technical team
- Maintain accurate records of test results, formulations, and observations
- Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used according to safety and quality standards
- Support quality control activities and investigate product complaints or non-conformities
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve product performance and resolve technical issues
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in construction materials or industrial mortars
- Familiarity with lab instruments and testing procedures (e.g., viscosity, setting time, compressive strength)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
