Laboratory Analyst

About This Role

This laboratory analyst role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while performing various technical tasks. It suits a meticulous individual capable of preparing and maintaining cultures, providing technical support, and assisting with quality investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Housekeeping, safety regulations, and policies related to the Quality Management System (QMS) program and relevant regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain stock and working cultures of reference microorganisms
• Assist in the procurement of laboratory supplies and services and evaluation of external providers
• Assist in the receipt, coding, and encoding of samples as needed
• Provide technical support to the Sales and Marketing Department and clients regarding testing, reporting or technical inquiries as needed
• Assist in the identification and investigation of non-conformities, and in the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Assist in the hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation activities
• Strictly adhere to the company ’s guidelines on the code of discipline
