Laboratory Analyst - CRE

About This Role

This laboratory analyst position involves performing various tests on lube oil according to industry standards, maintaining laboratory instruments, and ensuring accurate data recording and timely submission of results. The role suits a chemistry graduate with an eye for detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lube oil analysis tests following ASTM and ISO standards
• Perform routine and specialized oil tests and ensure accurate recording of data
• Calibrate and standardize laboratory instruments on a daily or monthly basis
• Maintain proper documentation, including sample logs, test results, calibration records, and maintenance logs
• Develop, modify, verify, and validate testing methods as needed
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely reporting
• Coordinate with the warehouse on stock levels and ensure monthly inventory is maintained
• Oversee proper tagging and monthly monitoring of oil disposal
• Ensure timely submission of test results within the required turnaround time
• Follow laboratory safety and procedural rules and perform administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of BS Chemistry
• Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• At least 6 months of experience in a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
