Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Iowa
Schedule: Full-time (shift varies based on unit needs)
Compensation: $63,000 – $86,000 annually
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery provides direct patient care to women and newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of care. This role supports patients and families during one of life’s most critical experiences, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care in a hospital-based labor and delivery unit.
Responsibilities align with professional nursing standards and established clinical protocols, with a focus on patient safety, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license eligible to practice in Iowa
- Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
Preferred
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or fetal monitoring
