About the role
Join a recognized Labor & Birth program as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in obstetrical care, delivering comprehensive services from routine deliveries to high-risk maternal cases.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing individualized care for mothers, infants, and families across all childbirth stages
- Monitoring and managing labor and high-risk patients, recognizing emergencies
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and advocating for patients
- Leading clinical responses during emergencies and serving as a peer resource
- Educating families to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN or Compact License
- BLS Certification; NRP and ACLS required
- Additional certifications and skills in fetal monitoring and critical thinking are preferred
