Kitchen Manager

About This Role

Leading the kitchen operations at a popular burger joint is the core of this management role, ensuring top-notch food quality and efficiency. The Kitchen Manager will oversee staff, refine food preparation, and uphold health and safety standards, working closely with the General Manager for smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality and efficiency
• Manage and lead the kitchen staff
• Develop and maintain food preparation processes
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate closely with the Restaurant General Manager and front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the kitchen and dining areas

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a restaurant setting
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and appliances
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
