Head Kitchen Design -Lead High-Impact Commercial Kitchen Projects-8 Years -Mumbai/Bangalore
We are seeking a senior Kitchen Design professional to lead the Kitchen Design Projects function for a rapidly growing project-led business. This role combines technical design leadership, design governance, regulatory compliance, client management and commercial ownership. You will lead a team of designers and oversee commercial kitchen projects from concept design through food trials and final handover.
Location- Mumbai / Bangalore
Your Future Employer- A project-driven organisation delivering commercial kitchen design and execution solutions, working closely with clients, chefs, architects, PMCs, MEP/fire consultants and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Kitchen Design team, establishing strong design governance, peer reviews and QA/QC standards.
- Review and approve kitchen layouts, BOQs and technical submissions, ensuring first-time-right design delivery.
- Act as the senior client-facing kitchen operations expert, managing design reviews, presentations, scope changes and operational requirements.
- Drive compliance with FSSAI, Fire, HVAC/exhaust, fresh-air, gas safety and NBC requirements.
- Oversee projects from concept design execution coordination food trials handover.
- Own design-scope commercials including billing milestones, variations and scope control.
Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience in Commercial Kitchen Design & Execution.
- Strong experience in FSSAI, Fire Department approvals and HVAC/exhaust regulations.
- Proven experience leading kitchen design teams and governing design quality.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent client management, negotiation, decision-making and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience working with clients, chefs, architects, PMCs, MEP/fire consultants and vendors.
