Kitchen Assistant

We are a Kerala cuisine restaurant serving authentic South Indian flavors. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the chef in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and ingredients.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Help with stock management and deliveries.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required (training will be provided).
• Willingness to learn about Kerala cuisine.
• Ability to speak Malayalam and Tamil (mandatory).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 48.0 – 50.0 per week
