Our client is a well-established, creative and design-focused business with approximately 60 employees and operations across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The Role
Reporting to an experienced Account Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career. The successful candidate will initially provide hands-on sales administration and customer support, with the opportunity to develop into an Account Manager within 3-5 years.
- Provide day-to-day sales administration and support to the Account Manager and their client portfolio.
- Manage emails, phone calls and general client communications, ensuring information is followed up and actioned.
- Assist with sales orders, invoicing and general back-end administration.
- Work closely with internal Project Managers, Designers and the broader sales team.
- Assist with Excel-based reporting, tracking and administration.
- Gain exposure to the company's creative, design and project management processes.
Your Profile
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales and account management within a creative and fast-paced environment. Previous experience in retail sales, customer service or a retail store environment would be highly regarded, particularly for someone who has progressed into a Store Manager or Team Leader position.
- A positive, energetic and can-do attitude.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional and mature behaviours, with the confidence to communicate with clients and suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Some experience using Microsoft Excel and confidence working across computer systems.
- An interest in creative, design or visual environments would be advantageous.
- The ambition to develop from a junior support position into an Account Management career.
