Junior Project Manager - Technical

About This Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated project professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and driving projects from initiation to completion. As a Project Manager / Junior Project Manager, you will work on-site for the client, AkzoNobel, in Sassenheim. In this versatile and dynamic role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a variety of facility and building-related projects while working closely with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the delivery of facility and building-related projects on the AkzoNobel site
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and the CBRE GWS team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from defining project requirements and planning activities through execution, monitoring progress, and project completion
• Coordinate projects from initiation through completion
• Manage planning, scope, budget, and timelines
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers during project execution
• Monitor progress and report status to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety and site requirements
• Ensure compliance with local regulations
• Manage project administration and documentation
• Support stakeholder communication and alignment
• Identify project risks and support mitigation actions
• Act as one of the key points of contact for project-related activities on-site
• Contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse project portfolio

Requirements

• HBO working and thinking level (technical, construction, facility management, architecture, business, or similar)
• Fluency in Dutch
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Availability to work on-site in Sassenheim
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Structured and proactive working style
• VCA VOL certification (or willingness to obtain it)

• Experience in project coordination or project management

The Sassenheim site includes production facilities, research and development laboratories, and office spaces.
