Junior Product Manager Embroideries - Fixed-Term Contract

About This Role

This junior product manager role focuses on embroideries within the Ready-to-Wear Embroideries team, ensuring the timely development of collections, adherence to quality standards, and budget management from samples to production handover. It suits a candidate with a keen eye for product and a passion for fashion, ready to coordinate and optimize the development process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the launch of embroideries and samples: manage fabric and component shipments to embroiderers, issue purchase orders, verify stocks and prices, update tracking tables and the collection plan, and disseminate information to internal teams and partners
• Prepare working meetings with the Studio and internal teams, supporting the Pole Manager and collaborating with the coordinator
• Create, complete, and update technical files throughout development: embroidery descriptions, nomenclatures, techniques, photographs of received samples, etc.
• Establish pricing calculation elements, monitor the collection budget, and contribute to risk analyses by proposing adapted technical solutions
• Optimize processes to reduce costs without compromising style: analyze techniques, components, and manufacturing steps; propose alternative materials, execution simplifications, or innovative solutions, while respecting the creative intention
• Anticipate risks and resolve technical production issues: identify blocking points related to deadlines, quality, or feasibility; conduct risk analyses; propose, deploy, and monitor corrective actions
• Plan and manage industrial tests: reproducibility tests, material and process validation, maintenance tests
• Guarantee the robustness and reproducibility of embroideries in production
• Develop commercial documents and contribute to the promotion of savoir-faire
• Monitor maintenance tests, ensure completeness of compositions, and collect regulatory documentation
• Conduct ad-hoc sourcing research, monitor development requests and orders, ensure archiving and return of samples, and formalize regulatory elements
• Support the Embroidery Pole Manager in continuous monitoring of the product line (components, materials, trade shows, visits)
• Disseminate the "embroidery savoir-faire culture" for the product category both internally and to manufacturers and their ecosystems

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience (including internships) in similar positions and/or environments
• Product sensitivity and fashion culture
• Anticipation skills, reactivity, rigor, organization, sense of priorities, and respect for deadlines
• Enthusiasm for teamwork, strong communication skills, active listening, energy, commitment, and proactivity
• Advanced proficiency in IT tools (PLM, BI, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a real plus)
