Junior Presales Backup

We are looking for an candidate to join our team as a Junior Presales Backup Consultant . This is a great opportunity for someone who already has initial experience in a customer-facing role and is ready to further develop within presales and solution consulting.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced presales consultants and the sales organization to support and lead customer conversations, contribute to solution positioning, and further strengthen your ability to translate business challenges into clear and tailored backup and recovery advice.

You will work across a portfolio of backup vendors (Veeam, Rubrik, and AvePoint), and continue to build your experience in navigating a multi-vendor environment to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support account managers and experienced presales consultants in customer opportunities, from discovery through to proposal stage.
• Actively contribute to customer meetings and engagements, gradually taking ownership of specific topics and solution areas.
• Help position backup solutions across (for instance) Backup & Recovery, Microsoft 365 backup, and ransomware recovery, aligned to customer requirements and business priorities.
• Contribute to solution design, scope definition, presentations, quotations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor teams to develop competitive and relevant multi-vendor proposals.
• Build knowledge and credibility across our backup vendor portfolio (Veeam, Rubrik and AvePoint)
• Support and contribute to internal sessions, workshops, and customer-facing engagements, including exposure to conversations with various stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• A strong interest in presales, solution selling, and customer engagement
• A foundational understanding of backup and recovery is considered a plus.
• The ability and willingness to operate in a multi-vendor environment and develop a vendor-agnostic mindset.
• Confidence in engaging with customer stakeholders, with the potential to grow into a credible discussion partner and trusted advisor.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Professional level of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
