About This Role

Designing civil solutions for outdoor spaces is the core of this role, working on integrated projects for governments, developers, and contractors. You will translate urban planning and sewerage plans into efficient designs for urban and rural areas. This position suits a junior designer who wants to develop preliminary designs, definitive designs, and tender drawings, and visualize plans using tools like Infraworks.

Responsibilities

• Work based on technical urban planning and sewerage plans to determine efficient working methods
• Translate technical solutions into clear project objectives
• Design preliminary designs, definitive designs, and tender drawings for urban and rural areas
• Support participation processes, such as creating Infraworks visualizations and contributing to stakeholder meetings
• Collaborate with various disciplines to achieve integrated civil engineering designs
• Fulfill multiple roles within regional development and infrastructure projects and independently guide your activities to grow within your field

Requirements

• Completed education in civil engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of ArcGIS, AutoCAD/Civil3D, and/or Infraworks is a plus
• Starter experience up to a few years of experience in civil engineering
