Position: Junior Area Sales Manager
Location: France - travel-based within the region
Client: Medical Devices/ Medical Aesthetics
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Main Responsibilities
- Drive lead generation and capital sales growth across France, using a mix of prospecting, cold calling, cold visits, appointments, events and local roundtables.
- Identify new territories, specialties and prospective customers, while developing and nurturing existing relationships.
- Partner closely with Marketing and the senior sales team to maximise lead-generation activity and sales opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and complete sales pipeline in Salesforce, generating sufficient weekly leads to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Educate prospective customers on the products, clinical indications, efficacy, safety and customer benefits.
- Qualify and hand over opportunities to the Country Manager and senior sales team at the appropriate stage, supporting the progression and closure of leads.
- Travel extensively across the assigned French territory, including overnight stays, trade shows, training and corporate meetings, with occasional short-notice travel across territories.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent .
- 3–5+ years of sales experience , ideally within aesthetics, medical devices/capital equipment or a strong B2B environment.
- Demonstrable track record of successful lead generation and sales performance , supported by concrete examples.
- Strong understanding of the aesthetics/medical device industry and customers’ business challenges .
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and verbal communication skills .
- Comfortable and confident with cold calling and proactive prospecting .
- Strong ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing and other departments .
- Experience in lead generation within laser, aesthetics or medical devices is highly desirable.
- Existing network among dermatologists, aesthetic doctors or clinics is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM .
- Fluent English is advantageous.
- Able to travel throughout the territory and hold a valid driving licence .
