Junior Accountant

About This Role

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining accurate financial records
• Learn and assist with preparing and posting journal entries
• Support the administration and reconciliation of company fuel credit card accounts
• Assist with tracking and maintaining company fleet records, including vehicle registrations and documentation
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting and administrative records
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as you gain experience and develop your skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with relevant accounting coursework
• 0

-2 years of accounting experience; recent graduates with no experience are strongly encouraged to apply

• Basic understanding of accounting principles through college coursework
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively with a team
• Comfortable working onsite in Rockford, IL, five days per week
