Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and appliances in accordance with construction plans and schematics.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for construction plumbing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification recognized in your region.
• Construction site experience with residential and commercial plumbing projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance, repair techniques, and remodeling processes.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other related tools safely.
• Familiarity with local building codes, plumbing codes, gas piping systems, and safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation and system design.
• Experience with leak location and isolation preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
