About This Role
Joining a full-service electrical contractor, the Journeyman Electrician performs electrical installations on transportation and industrial construction projects. This role suits an electrician with experience in conduit, cabling, wiring, power distribution, and lighting systems, who can maintain high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations on Transportation and/or Industrial Construction projects
- Install Conduit (all types), cabling and wiring, power distribution systems including switch gear, transformers, control panels, lighting systems, F/A, and miscellaneous temporary power
- Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations and tasks
Requirements
- 5-7 years of minimum experience
- Current Electrical License
Nice to have:
- Completion of Apprenticeship program
- NICET 2 or higher
- BICSI Certified
- Wastewater Treatment Plant Experience
- OCS - Overhead Catenary Specialist

Important Details
- Schedule: 40 hours in a single workweek
Physical Requirements
- Frequently on feet, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists
- Physically demanding, requiring a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Frequently lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Communicate effectively
- Visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work
- Desk time in the office may require prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings
Work Environment
- Spend significant time on active construction sites, adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels
- Comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment and with the fast-paced nature of a project in progress
- Spend time in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels
- Expected to follow C3M's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations
