Envision has an opening for a part-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our highly regarded team at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This position offers an outstanding clinical environment, competitive compensation, and the chance to work with a premier pediatric emergency medicine program. Qualifications: Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine through ABP, ABEM, or AOBEM with a completed PEM Fellowship. ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Position Profile: 27,000 annual pediatric visits Level I Pediatric Trauma Center 14-bed Pediatric ED including 2-bed Fast Track 12-bed PICU 63-Bed Level III NICU, RPPIC Center 36 hours of pediatrician coverage 12-hour shifts (10 shifts/month for full-time) Full sub-specialty back-up EPIC EMR Teaching opportunities with Pediatric Residents Independent Contractor Status (1099) - Fort Lauderdale, FL, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital at Broward Health is nationally recognized by the Children’s Hospital Association for its family-centered care for newborns, children, and adolescents. The hospital’s dedicated healthcare team includes pediatricians across multiple subspecialties and experienced pediatric nurses; all focused on meeting the unique needs of children and their families. Located within Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, the hospital features a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, providing top-tier care for traumatic and emergency injuries. Children in western Broward County also have access to emergency services at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Coral Springs. With 24/7 on-site emergency and trauma teams and specialized care teams on call around the clock, patients receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for a wide range of conditions.
