Key Technical Skills
The successful candidate should have strong experience in:
- Snowflake advanced hands-on development experience.
- SQL advanced SQL development, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Data Mart development – experience designing and productionising enterprise data marts.
- ETL/ELT and data pipelines – Experience with modern ETL/ELT orchestration and transformation frameworks, including scheduling, dependency management, monitoring and recovery.
- Medallion Architecture – practical understanding of Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Bitbucket / Git – strong source-control practices.
- CI/CD – experience developing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines, preferably using Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Data quality and testing – implementation of validation, reconciliation, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Performance optimisation – ability to optimise Snowflake workloads, SQL queries, and data models.
- Security & Access Management – understanding of Snowflake RBAC, roles, privileges and secure data access patterns.
