About This Role
This engineering role focuses on integrating a JavaScript behavioral collection component into customer web applications and developing web technologies to leverage behavioral AI data. It suits an energetic JavaScript expert who enjoys challenging problems, values working with industry experts, and loves solving real problems with customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with Account Management, senior Solutions Engineers, and customers to understand customer web applications and facilitate integration of ForMotiv’s Behavioral collection component into those applications
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Develop web technologies and applications to help customers understand and leverage behavioral AI technologies and data
- Provide feature development and bug resolution for the JavaScript library and related technologies as part of the Engineering Team
- Assist with the presales and post-sales processes, including building world-class demos
- Evaluate and test new technologies to enhance ForMotiv’s offerings
- Provide performance and reliability testing
Requirements
- Engineer at heart, with a love for working with customers
- 4-year computer science or related degree (highly recommended, but may be waived with relevant experience)
- Strong mathematics and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of JavaScript experience, developing with multiple front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, ReactJS, Vue.js, Ember, Meteor)
- Experience using back-end APIs and programming
- Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and a willingness to learn (and be taught)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
- Eagerness to wear multiple hats and lend a hand to teammates when called upon
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Nice to have:
- Customer-facing experience (internal or external)
- Machine Learning or Data Science experience
- Database and SQL experience
