Java Spring Boot Developer

About This Role

Developing and maintaining backend applications using Java and Spring Boot is the core of this project-based role. The position suits a skilled developer with practical knowledge of Java backend development, REST APIs, database management, and application integration, who can independently deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API practices
• Integrate third-party APIs and frontend applications
• Debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality
• Follow clean coding practices, maintain documentation, and use Git for version control
• Coordinate remotely with the team and provide regular project progress updates

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and collections
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
• Experience in REST API development and integration
• Knowledge of SQL databases and database design
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Postman
• Understanding of exception handling, validation, and application security
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Spring Security and JWT authentication
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD
• Experience integrating Java backends with React, Vue.js, or mobile applications
