About This Role
This Java Spring Boot Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The position is for a highly skilled and motivated developer with strong backend expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required
- Stay updated with the latest Java ecosystem, frameworks, and development practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Understanding of Maven or Gradle build tools
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Qualification: Any Degree
Nice to have:
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar) to improve development productivity and code quality
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and business requirements
- Prior experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) product company
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
