Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Development Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale web applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership experience, be hands-on with modern Java and Angular technologies, mentor development teams, and drive end-to-end application delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java and Angular.
- Architect scalable, secure, high-performing solutions using Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices.
- Drive Agile delivery including sprint planning, estimations, technical planning, and release management.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and foster technical excellence within the team.
- Drive application performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.
- Own technical design decisions and participate in architecture and solution reviews.
- Coordinate technical deliveries across offshore/onshore teams.
- Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and delivery leadership.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 12+.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with API security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication frameworks.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading development teams and coordinating offshore/onshore teams.
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
Good-to-Have Skills
- ReactJS exposure.
- AWS or Azure cloud experience.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- SonarQube and Nexus.
- Automated testing frameworks such as JUnit/Mockito.
- Insurance or BFSI domain experience.
Leadership Expectations
- Lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Own technical design decisions and solution reviews.
- Drive quality engineering, automation, and coding best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure development standards.
