Role Purpose

The Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining technology solutions that support enterprise business objectives. The role contributes to software delivery initiatives by developing high-quality code, supporting automation and CI/CD practices, troubleshooting existing systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to learn modern development practices, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications and services.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
• Integrate applications and services across enterprise platforms.
• Support cloud-native and platform-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and quality assurance processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, flowcharts, and solution designs.

• Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant internship, graduate program, or professional experience in software engineering or technology delivery.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to:

• 6-9 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or technology operations.

• Java application development.

• Cloud platforms such as AWS.

• CI/CD and DevOps tools including:

• Jenkins

• GitHub

• Automated deployment and build tools

• Source code management and version control practices.

• Platform and infrastructure automation.

• Workflow management tools such as:

• JIRA

• Rally

• Event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as:

• Agile software development methodologies.
