About This Role
This engineering role involves developing smart and scalable solutions for users, with a focus on large-scale distributed applications. The position requires a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to identify solution requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and support large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
- Work with a team to develop smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for users
- Understand performance issues and approaches to address them systematically
- Create end-to-end architecture along with the deployment strategy
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams and deliver solutions to customers
- Take end-to-end delivery ownership
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for users
- Create automated unit tests for both existing code and new projects
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Expertise in Java/J2EE, EJBs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Restful services, JMS, Interfacing with Kafka/Elastic search
- Expertise in React JS framework to develop the SPA
- Willingness to work in a support project
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours to extend support during weekend production calls (on need basis)
- Strong coding skills to clear coding challenge during the technical discussion
- Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development
