About This Role
This janitor role ensures that all public restrooms are clean and functional, and that the entire park grounds are free of trash. The position involves maintaining cleanliness, responding to clean-ups, and assisting with event set-up.
Responsibilities
- Set up, stock, and maintain work area
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and guest areas
- Respond to clean-ups in the park
- Walk property picking up trash and transport to compactor throughout shift
- Perform park maintenance
- Assist guest areas when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
- Assist in event set-up as needed
- Complete final cleaning of restrooms at close, by cleaning the restrooms, and returning equipment to its proper location
- Complete closing duties, including removing all trash from receptacles and transporting all park trash to compactors
- Be aware of all activities at the park and report any intoxicated guests or suspicious activities to management
Requirements
- High School education; able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
