IT Specialist

About This Role

This position performs enterprise IT risk analysis, architecture planning, and technology evaluation to support secure modernization and enterprise IT decisions across systems, cloud, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity. It is located in the Office of Information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice.

Responsibilities

• Perform enterprise IT risk analysis, architecture planning, and technology evaluation to support secure modernization and enterprise IT decisions across systems, cloud, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity

Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen or National
• Complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening
• Complete a one-year probationary period (may be required)
• Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959; those not registered should have an approved exemption on file
• Disclose financial information in accordance with DOJ and Federal ethics guidelines (may be required)

• Contract: Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance
