IT Specialist

About This Role

This role is for a passionate and professional IT Operations Specialist with a high drive and a can-do attitude, combined with excellent IT and business understanding. You will be a vital technical resource, co-responsible for first-line support to keep the office running smoothly within a fast-paced environment, reacting proactively and effectively to all requests and incidents with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial troubleshooting and handle incidents and requests effectively
• Take ownership and use collaboration skills to ensure business runs smoothly
• Ensure compliance with relevant security processes and tools
• Perform a variety of ad hoc tasks within the IT department, such as PC configuration and general IT support both indoors and outdoors
• Provide support outside regular office hours when needed

Requirements

• Advanced desktop usage, Microsoft Azure, Windows 11, and mobile devices
• Strong knowledge of setting up PCs, including BIOS configuration, Microsoft operating systems, and connectivity (LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)
• Good knowledge of common PC accessories and how to connect them (e.g., printers, mice, external drives)
• Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Teams, Project, Visio)
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of using AV equipment in meeting rooms
• Thorough knowledge of the organization’s working and diversified business requirements
• Thorough knowledge of current business processes in the Maersk Group
• High sense of urgency
• Professional communication, customer service, and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to work with people at all levels in the organization
