The Role
- Lead LIS implementation delivery and ongoing application support for Clinical Pathology (CP) workflows
- Own the operating model for Application Support (L1/L2) and Implementation (L3/L4) teams
- Ensure production stability, successful deployments, and go-live readiness
- Coordinate closely with various LIS and IT teams, medical leadership, and vendors
- Accountable for CP production support, high-volume throughput, and instrument-connected workflow stability
- Drive continuous improvement in support processes, implementation methodology, and documentation quality
What You'll Need
- 6–10+ years of experience in LIS systems, healthcare IT, clinical applications, or laboratory operations technology
- 2–5+ years of leadership, team management, or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of Clinical Pathology (CP) LIS workflows, including specimen processing and instrument interfaces
- Experience leading medium to large-scale implementations, upgrades, and go-live events
- Working knowledge of application support models, incident management, and problem management
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare or laboratory environments (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)
