About This Role

This IT Manager role involves overseeing a broad spectrum of an organization's IT platform and infrastructure. The work includes analysis, development, and administration across various IT domains, ensuring the effective implementation of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage or perform work across multiple areas of an organization's overall IT platform and infrastructure
• Conduct analysis, development, and administration of IT systems software, hardware, and databases
• Manage data voice networks
• Oversee data processing operations
• Provide end-user technology software support
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization's IT roadmap
• Drive the development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes, or activities
• Serve as the final decision/opinion maker in the area of expertise
• Coach, mentor, and train others on the area of expertise
• Ensure the implementation of short to medium-term activities within the business area or support sub-function in the context of the department's strategy
• Ensure appropriate policies, processes, and standards are developed and implemented to support short to medium-term tactical direction
• Lead a team of specialists, sometimes with several hierarchical levels, with full employee lifecycle responsibility
