Responsibilities:
Network & Implementation
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and WAN/LAN environments for client projects.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of network solutions, from planning and staging through to go-live and post-deployment support.
- Configure, deploy, and manage firewall solutions to meet client security and compliance requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation for network and security-related incidents.
- Support and execute data centre projects, including rack/stack, cabling, equipment installation, and infrastructure migrations.
- Work with multi-vendor networking and security environments across client sites.
Systems & Virtualisation
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to support client infrastructure environments.
- Administer and support Linux and Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and integration with broader network infrastructure.
Project Delivery & Documentation
- Produce clear, accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration records, migration plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT) documents.
- Lead or support project delivery, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders on project status, technical issues, and solution recommendations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- With 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, implementation, and deployment projects
- Strong working knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point) — configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in infrastructure deployment, migration and technology refresh.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
- Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
- Strong documentation skills — able to produce network diagrams, configuration guides, and migration/UAT documentation.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
