Job Summary Are you looking to turn your knack for problem-solving and passion for tech into a rewarding career path? If you have a solid foundation in customer service and a drive to learn, we'd love to have you join our team in Madison as an IT Help Desk Specialist (Level I)! This is an entry-level position and an opportunity to get hands-on, real-world experience with essential IT concepts, systems, and troubleshooting practices.
The shift available is Saturday - Wednesday 12:00am - 8:30am, and all work will be done onsite in East Madison off of Femrite Drive. The support center is open all holidays.
This is a 24x7x365 support center position, so you may be asked to shift work hours or work overtime to provide adequate coverage if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to end users on a variety of IT issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
- Utilize knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular support field.
Qualifications
- Customer Service = 6 months experience preferred
- Basic IT Troubleshooting = 6 months experience preferred
- Call center experience = 6 months experience preferred
- Previous IT Support desk call center experience a big plus
