About the role

Your Responsibilities

  • Ownership and support of IT financial planning, including annual budgets and 3-5 year financial plans for the global IT organization.

  • Management and coordination of IT budgets, financial performance tracking, KPI monitoring, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting across regions, functions, and business units.

  • Analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, optimize costs, improve financial performance, and support cost-saving initiatives.

  • Development and maintenance of IT financial models, reporting frameworks, cost allocation and chargeback methodologies, ensuring transparency, compliance, and data integrity.

  • Consolidation of forecasts and financial results, providing insights, recommendations, and explanations for budget and performance variances.

  • Support of IT financial risk management, internal controls, governance processes, and compliance requirements, including J-SOX controls.

  • Optimization and automation of financial processes, systems, tools, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and decision-making.

  • Preparation of financial analyses, reports, dashboards, presentations, and management information to support senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Collaboration with Finance, IT leaders, regional teams, and business stakeholders to align priorities, define requirements, and support organizational change initiatives.

  • Exposure to a dynamic stakeholder landscape with frequently changing priorities, cost structures, and funding requirements.

  • Adaptability within a transforming IT organization, balancing uncertainty, complexity, and evolving business priorities.

  • Collaborative partnership with the Global IT Finance Lead and wider IT Finance team, supporting knowledge exchange and shared team objectives.

Your qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven experience in IT Finance, supporting large and complex IT organizations, with a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Experience in consulting and/or a combination of large, complex organizations and start-up or scale-up environments is desirable.

  • Solid expertise in financial analysis, financial modeling, performance management, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Knowledge of IT financial management best practices, tools, governance processes, and IT service cost allocation models.

  • Experience gained in consulting, multinational organizations, and/or dynamic start-up or scale-up environments is advantageous.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, functions, and financial analysis techniques.

  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and drive improvements.

  • Resilience and adaptability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities and requirements.

  • Professional English language skills (C1 level or equivalent).
