IT Field Support Technician

About This Role

This field support technician role involves performing hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products as part of the Infrastructure Delivery team. The position requires basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair, along with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form
• Accept and deliver all assigned service calls
• Complete all administrative tasks associated with each call
• Control and return assets and inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
• May provide functional guidance to colleagues

Requirements

• Technical school certification or equivalent and 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to drive to client locations
• Ability to lift and/or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
• Must own a basic repair tool kit
