Role Overview This senior technical position involves leading cloud platform engineering support for Azure, focusing on consulting, onboarding, platform operations, and enabling secure cloud usage across teams. The role includes engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver product capabilities in data analytics, particularly with Databricks, from project initiation to go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architecture consulting and early engagement for Azure platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with application teams, engineers, vendors, and operations to drive product delivery and support roadmap alignment.
- Advocate for application needs, support project lifecycle from intake to deployment, and manage platform environment delivery.
- Lead technical direction for projects, develop requirements, and evaluate solutions to ensure effective IT system utilization.
- Influence solution design, recommend data and service enhancements, and participate in vendor evaluations.
- Promote continuous process improvement, develop standardized tools, and align initiatives with strategic goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or related areas.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and communication skills.
