About This Role

This IT Consultant role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of SailPoint IdentityIQ IIQ implementations and enhancements. It involves developing and executing test strategies, plans, and scenarios, with a strong emphasis on automation using Playwright and TypeScript. The position requires collaboration with various teams to resolve and validate issues, and active participation in release planning and quality governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for SailPoint IdentityIQ IIQ implementations and enhancements
• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test automation frameworks and test suites using Playwright
• Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, and Support teams to investigate, resolve, and validate issues across environments
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective defect management
• Prepare Test Completion Reports (TCRs), quality metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status reports
• Participate in production readiness reviews, provide quality assessments, and recommend release signoffs
• Contribute to release planning, risk assessments, stakeholder communications, and overall quality governance activities
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience
• Experience with SailPoint IIQ upgrades, enhancements, and release testing
• Knowledge of broader Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts and IAM domain
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation, preferably using TypeScript
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of JIRA for defect logging, tracking, and test management
• Good SQL knowledge for database validation and backend testing
