About This Role
This IT Consultant role involves analyzing client IT landscapes, developing solutions based on Microsoft technologies, and guiding migration projects to the Microsoft Cloud. You will work with clients to define modern IT strategies and architectures, ensuring future-proof, user-friendly, and business-value-driven platform approaches.
Responsibilities
- Advise, analyze, and conceptualize: Analyze existing IT landscapes, requirements, and challenges of clients, develop sustainable solutions based on Microsoft technologies, and support migration projects to the Microsoft Cloud, such as Azure Microsoft or M365
- Strategy and architecture: Jointly with clients, derive modern IT strategies, target images, and architectural decisions from the corporate strategy, and help build a robust IT foundation
- Platform and implementation: Design integrated platform approaches and support their technical implementation, always with a view to future-proofing, user experience, and clear business added value
- Security and governance: Consider security, compliance, and identity-centric approaches as fundamental prerequisites for modern IT, and create sustainable structures together with project teams
- Communication and control: As an interface between departments, IT, and other stakeholders, moderate workshops, structure requirements, and ensure clear decisions and priorities
- Change and enablement: Support change not only technically, but also organizationally and procedurally, document results understandably, and assist with knowledge transfer to client teams
Requirements
- Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field, or relevant practical experience in a suitable environment
- Very good German language skills (C2) and good English language skills (at least C1)
- Experience in IT consulting or in digitalization, transformation, infrastructure, or architecture projects
- Experience with IT security concepts, cloud migrations, or the administration of Microsoft cloud environments
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, platform approaches, and the connections between technology, organization, and processes
